The storage temperature ranges from -10°C to 55°C.
When discharged, the pressure remains relatively stable, providing a long effective firefighting duration.
The extinguishing powder is non-toxic and harmless to humans, livestock, and the environment.

2. Structure of the Tomoken 35 kg Fire Extinguisher

The dry powder fire extinguisher comes in two types:

Type with a separate propellant cylinder: The propellant cylinder can be placed inside (MF type – China) or outside the powder cylinder (OPX type – Russia).
Type without a separate propellant cylinder: The gas is directly charged into the powder cylinder (MFZ type – China).

The dry powder fire extinguisher from China, designated as MFZ (BC) or MFZL (ABC), is highly mobile and uses nitrogen (N2) gas to expel the powder. The cylinders are made from pressure-resistant steel.
The propellant gas is connected to the powder cylinder via a siphon tube.
The propellant gas is typically nitrogen, carbon dioxide, or halogenated hydrocarbons.
The valve assembly is attached to the lid and can be removed for refilling powder and gas after use.

3. Usage and Maintenance Instructions

3.1. Maintenance of the Tomoken 35 kg Powder Fire Extinguisher

Store in a visible and accessible location for easy firefighting.
Place in a dry, well-ventilated area, avoiding direct sunlight and strong thermal radiation, with a maximum temperature of 50°C. If stored outdoors, it should be sheltered.
Handle with care during transport. Avoid direct exposure to high temperatures and vibrations.
Regularly check the extinguisher according to the manufacturer's guidelines or at least every 3 months. If the gauge needle is below the green line, it must be recharged.
After opening the valve, the extinguisher must be refilled. Before refilling, remove any sealing components and clean any powder residue.
If there is still pressure, reduce it by slowly squeezing the valve to release gas until the gauge reads zero. If a hissing sound is heard, stop immediately and check.
Before each new gas refill and after 5 years of use, the cylinder must undergo hydraulic testing to ensure it meets the required strength, with a minimum of 30 MPa.
Check the propellant gas through the pressure gauge or by weighing and comparing it to the initial weight.
Check the powder weight by weighing and comparing it.
Inspect the nozzle and spray horn.

3.2. Usage Instructions

For handheld extinguishers:

Move the extinguisher close to the fire.
Shake it a few times if it is a powder extinguisher with a common propellant (MFZ).
Pull the safety pin.
Aim the nozzle into the wind towards the base of the fire.
Hold the extinguisher at a distance of 4 to 1.5 m, depending on the type.
Squeeze the valve to release the extinguishing powder.
As the pressure decreases, move closer and sweep the nozzle back and forth to completely extinguish the fire.

For wheeled extinguishers:

Push the cart to the fire location, pulling the hose to direct the powder.
Pull the safety pin, and position the valve perpendicular to the ground.
Firmly hold the nozzle, choose the wind direction, and squeeze the trigger to release the powder.
