PROJECT INFORMATION
With an investment scale of approximately USD 220 million, Samsung's R&D Center in Vietnam broke ground in March 2020 in the western part of West Lake (Tay Ho District, Hanoi). The center is located on a land plot of 11,603 m², with a total floor area of 79,511 m², including 3 basement levels and 16 above-ground floors. This is Samsung’s largest R&D center in Southeast Asia to date. The facility is expected to play a key role in developing software for Android-based smartphones and conducting research on 5G and 6G network technologies.

In addition to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment for mobile and network technology research, the Samsung Vietnam R&D Center also includes amenities such as:
