1. General Introduction to Chungmei Fire Alarm Control Panel

1.1 Product Description

A professional automatic fire alarm system that controls 40 zones.
The enclosure is made of steel with a thickness of 1.2mm - 2.0mm and is powder-coated.
It comes with a built-in backup power supply that automatically charges when there is a power outage, helping to extend its lifespan.
It features dual internal speakers with a power of 92dB.
Number of channels: 40 channels.
Input power: DC – 24V.
Connection: RS232.
Backup power: Includes backup battery.

1.2 Product Functions

Delay Function (Accumulation Function): The alarm will not sound immediately but will be triggered after a delay to ensure that a real fire signal is confirmed. This function helps to minimize false alarms.
Automatic Signal Transmission Check: Automatically checks the signal transmission lines to ensure that smoke/fire signal transmission is functioning normally. The fire alarm control panel will issue a warning signal if it detects a broken transmission line.
Available Backup Power: There is a backup battery available in case of a power outage.

2. Product Features

2.1 Backup Power Protection Feature

When the system loses grid power and the voltage of the backup battery drops below 18VDC, the system will automatically disconnect the backup power to extend the battery's lifespan.

2.2 High Voltage Protection Feature

The power supply module is equipped with protective devices to prevent the control panel from being damaged due to abnormal high voltage or unstable power supply.
Additionally, the fire alarm control panel displays excessively high or low voltage levels to alert the user.

2.3 User-Friendly Design

All signal circuit boards are designed in a modular format. If any board is damaged due to incorrect voltage connections, only that board needs to be replaced without disassembling other components. This makes repairs and maintenance easier.
The external control panel is made of high-quality heat-resistant plastic with a user-friendly, modern design that is easy to use. Users can easily clean any notes on the panel surface.
